Belize is a mixture of natural factors like climate, the Belize Barrier Reef, 127 offshore Cayes which is the islands, exceptional fishing, safe waters for boating, Scuba Diving and snorkeling. Many rivers are there in Belize where you can also try some activities like rafting, kayaking, jungles, wildlife reserves of fauna and flora, hiking, bird watching and helicopter touring. Kriol and Spanish are the two main spoken languages in Belize but the official language of Belize is English. It is the only country in Central America where English is in power. This is the only country that has British Colonial Heritage and is also the only constitutive country of the Commonwealth of Nations. Belize has a rectangular shape with a land boundary of 516 kilometres long. At every part of Belize you can experience archaeological and national parks, marine and nature reserves and wildlife sanctuaries. As per the districts Belize has plenty of attractions for tourists like in Belize District that attractions are Altun Ha, The Great Blue Hole, La Isla Bonita Ambergris Caye, Hol Chan Marine Reserve, Museum of Belize, Fort Street Tourism Village, The Bliss Centre for the Performing Arts, Old Belize Museum and Cucumber Beach, The Belize Zoo, Caye Caulker, Belikin Beer Brewery, San Pedro Town, Bakabush Adventure Tours, Crocland Eco-park and many Cayes that is islands.

Basin Wildlife Sanctuary and Jaguar ReserveIn stann Creek District the major attractions are Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary and Jaguar Reserve, Placencia, Hopkins, Victoria Peak, Tobacco Caye and Numerous Cayes. The attractions in Toledo District are Lubaantun, Nim Li Punit, Payne’s Creek National Park, San Antonio, Santa Cruz and Rio Blanco Falls and Blue Creek. Then in Corozal District the attractions could be found as Cerros, The Corozal Free Zone and Louisville, Belize. Then the attractions in the Orange Walk District are Lamanai, San Estevan which is a Maya site and the Rio Bravo Conservation and Management Area.

And last but not the least; the Cayo District has key attractions like Caracol, Xunantunich, Cahal Pech, El Pilar, Blue Hole, it’s a park, Guanacaste National Park, Chiquibul National Park, Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve, Barton Creek Cave and Actun Tunichil Muknal which is a cave. Also the other attractions of this district are 1,000 feet Falls, Chaa Creek, Big Rock Falls, Belize Botanic Gardens, Victoria Peak, which is the second highest point at 1,120 m in Belize and Doyle’s Delight again the highest point in Belize with a height of about 1,124 m.

About the transportation of Belize, it has the most vibrant ways and modes. Most of the inhabitants travel by public buses which are very frequent and in the major towns and cities you will find bus terminals situated. Belize has four distinct roads made of two-lane and they are Hummingbird Highway, Southern Highway, Western Highway and Northern Highway. These are the paved roads where as, the rest of the roads in Belize are unpaved and is in bad condition. The total paved roads of Belize have 575 kilometres of land and the unpaved are is of 2,432 kilometres.

For the ports and terminals Belize offers Belize City and Big Creek to its visitors. To reach here you can catch a flight to Belize through Philip S. W. Goldson International Airport situated in Ladyville which is outside of Belize City. The two airlines that provide frequent services are Tropic Air and Maya Island Air. About the railways, Belize is not that developed. Stann Creek Railway was the only railway operated in Belize but was later abandoned. The line for FERISTSA Railway was proposed in the year 2007.

The climate of Belize is temperate and has two different seasons. One is the rainy and the other is dry. Rainfall could be found in between the months of June and November. The summer temperature could be found at 27 degree Celsius along the coast and 21 degree Celsius in the hills bringing the warmest temperatures in the month of May. Besides these, the winter brings cold in the month of January.

The barrier reef is the second greatest in the world and largest in the western hemisphere. The dive trips mostly could be found at among the cayes.
