Have you ever though of spending a vacation in Iran? How the life there would be, what are there to explore, is there any attractions worth visiting, why people do not plan to visit and make a memorable time in Iran? All these questions came into my mind when I was planning for my next vacation. Visiting sights full of natural attractions, beaches, or the islands is very common, but visiting a place full of historical sites and history lies at every corner is something unique and new for me. And this was possible only by visiting an uncommon place where people do not think to visit much due to many problems.
Visiting at the uncommon place that is Iran gave me immense pleasure and history, which I have captured in my handicam and will use those moments as a part of my life. Iran is actually a country that lies in the Western Asia and is officially known as the Islamic Republic of Iran. The country before 1935 was widely recognized as Persia instead of Iran. The name Iran has been taken right from the Sassanian era, which was later came into use in the year 1935. The country covers an area of 1,648,195 square kilometres, which is the largest country of the 18th century. Highlighting the meaning of Iran as the Land of Aryans, the country boasts amazing history and excellent structures, I must say is worth a lot.
Iran is blossoming with its Persian literature, medicine, philosophy, mathematics, medicine, and of course, art that are the major elements of the Muslim Civilization. As it is the eighteenth largest country, you will be amazed with its spectacular scenes that are different in different locations. The country is surrounded by the Azerbaijan and Armenia towards the northwest, Turkmenistan towards the northeast, Caspian Sea towards the north, Pakistan and Afghanistan towards the east, Turkey and Iraq towards the west, and at last waters that is of the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman towards the south. The country is comprised of Iranian Plateau that offers magnificent coasts of the Caspian Sea as well as Khuzestan.
Iran is among the most mountainous countries in the entire world. It also highlights wonderful landscape that is dominated by the uneven mountain ranges, which segregate a range of basins or the plateaux from each other. With beautiful landscape and mountains, the country is also flourishing with its plenty of flora and fauna options that you cannot escape. The wildlife of Iran is comprised of many animal species like wild pigs, bears, gazelles, wolves, panthers, Eurasian Iyex, foxes, and Jackals. With this, some domestic animals could also be found in the country like sheep, cattle, donkeys, water buffalo, horses, goats, and camels.
With this, I am very lucky to explore the major attractions of Iran like the Azadi Tower, City Theater of Tehran, which is the
largest theater auditorium in the entire Middle East, and many other breathtaking attractions. Iran has 3 beaches, 3 caves, 2 churches, 3 lakes, 2 mausoleums, 2 monuments, 4 mosques, 1 palace, 1 garden, and 1 caravanserais. To enjoy to the fullest in this country, you should visit and get fascinated at the Dizin ski resort, Chabahar Beaches, the Caspian Coast, Kish Island Beaches, Lake Urmia, Naqsh-e Rostam in Shiraz, Quran Gateway at Shiraz, Miandasht Caravanserai, Vank Cathedral at Isfahan, and the Eram Garden at Shiraz. All of these attractions have some unique feature that cannot be found anywhere else in the entire world.
Whether it is the olden regions, where you can explore the historical sites, or at the modern cities where modern architectural work and other attractions could be found; the country has uncountable amount of things to see and do.
The Culture of Iran is a mix of ancient pre-Islamic culture and Islamic culture. Iranian culture probably originated in Central Asia and the Andronovo culture is strongly suggested as the predecessor of Iranian culture.
The Sassanid era was an important and influential historical period in Iran as Iranian culture influenced China, India and Roman civilization considerably.
