Steven Spielberg, in his movie ‘Munich’ has tried his best to capture the emotions that underlie the entire event of the ‘Munich Massacre’.
What really happened back then?
The Summer Olympics were being hosted by Munich in 1972, when eleven Israeli athletes were taken hostage and murdered by a Palestinian terrorist group which was dubbed ‘Black September’. In retaliation, the Israeli government sent down a group of agents to track down these terrorists.

The Augustiner restaurant near the brewery is a fine place for good food and some excellent beer.
The German Hunting and fishing museum is also an important place.
The Frauenkirche is a very impressive Cathedral in Munich. This place is a must visit and attracts tourists from all round the world.
