  • Zurich:

    Explore one of greatest rail trips by catching the glacier Express to have a view of the breathtaking Alpine scenery from St Moritz to Zermatt or vice versa.

    Do not miss to take a trip on a cruise or ferry on the Lake Zürich, Lake Geneva, Lake Constance that can even take you to towns in Germany and Austria, and the scenic Vierwaltstattersee at Luzern. From this latter point, paddle steamers connect you to different mountain railways and cableways.
  • Carnivals:
    Become a part of the Basler Fasnacht that is a pre-Lenten carnival at Basel wherein masked parties and colorful street parades are held for three days. Do visit the  Fasnacht Fountain situated in the facade of the City Theatre.
  • Cable Car Trips:

  • Geneva:

Further, head towards the Lake Geneva where nearby the flower clock in the Jardin Anglais holding more than 6,500 blooms is a tribute to the watch industry of Geneva.

    Strong regionalism in Switzerland makes it difficult to speak of a homogeneous Swiss culture.

    The influence of German, French and Italian culture on their neighbouring parts cannot be denied.

    The Rhaeto-Romanic culture in the eastern mountains of Switzerland is robust.
